I hail from Sonbhadra, a small town in Uttar Pradesh. I did BSc from Banaras Hindu University before joining for Integrated-MSc-PhD program at University of Hyderabad. In my PhD I am trying to decipher how the cross-talks between the recombinases and the anti-recombinases shapes the outcome of Plasmodium meiosis as well as antigenic diversification. To carry out this work I received the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship from Govt. of India.

When not in lab I enjoy listening to music.
